Learning about Personalisation highlights the conclusion of the RSA’s 1999 Opening Minds report which pointed to a curriculum where learners know how to do things rather than know a collection of facts and things. The report seemed to veer towards a curriculum that is vocationally driven, however a curriculum that leads to long term competency rather than short term attainment for an assessment regime seems a positive direction.
